Background

Ten Thousand Coffees (10KC) is an all-in-one talent experience platform for mentoring, connectivity and skills development used by the world’s top organizations.

10KC has built integrations with Outlook Web and Google calendar systems which can give your employees (members) an enhanced user experience and enable them to book meetings faster without unnecessary manual work.

In its current version members can take advantage of the integration for Introductions and Development Programs.

Benefits

Faster connectivity.

Employees will be able to book meetings more efficiently without unnecessary manual work.

Intelligent scheduling.

Scheduled meetings are added directly to both the host and invitee calendars, removing any unnecessary steps in between.

Better tracking.

Quickly track how many Introduction matches resulted in actual meetings.

More time saving.

Employees use ~12.5% of organization’s time going back and forth scheduling meetings. That’s ~$18,000 per employee per year. Supercharge productivity with a seamless calendar integration.

10KC Introductions

Introductions is a powerful feature of the 10KC application which matches members using a Smart-Match algorithm factoring in their roles, interests, goals and any other custom data defined by the client admins.

Member Experience

  1. Member receives an introduction email from 10KC and clicks on “Send calendar invite” CTA to find available time to connect with their match

    OR

Member receives an introduction Slack message from 10KC and clicks on add to calendar CTA to find available time to connect with their match

  2. Member sees a list of time slots when both calendars* are open/available

*both their calendar and their match’s calendar

  3. Member selects a time and a modal appears and member clicks “Save to calendar” to save the event in both calendars

  4. Once the event is saved, members are able to see it in their own calendars and track responses easily (the screenshot below is for Outlook Web but Google Calendar users have the same experience)

Note for Outlook Web -- for delegated permissions, members will be required to log into their Outlook account after Step 1 to grant 10KC application access to their calendar

10KC Development Programs

Development programs provide guided mentorship programs for members to get exposure to opportunities aligned with their interests and capabilities, connect with leaders and colleagues they may otherwise not have access to, build partnerships and increase their skills and knowledge.

Member Experience

  1. Member receives a development program touchpoint email from 10KC and clicks on “Book a meeting” CTA to find available time to connect with their match
