Introductions Schedule

Configuring the Introduction Schedule is a key component in facilitating smooth and effective Introductions within your hub. By understanding and customizing your Introduction Schedule, you can enhance the experience for all members, ensuring timely and meaningful connections. This guide provides detailed instructions on managing your hub's Introduction Schedule.

By carefully managing your hub's Introduction Schedule, you can foster a vibrant community where members form meaningful connections. 

Navigate to Introductions schedule

  1. Click on Introductions.
    Click on Introductions
  2. In the tab click Schedule.
    Click on Intro > Schedule

Verify Introductions are turned on

By default, introductions are turned off. To turn them on, simply type "turn on introductions" (in all capital letters).

Scheduling notifications

After turning on Introductions, you'll be able to schedule the following; Introduction, Reminder,  Feedback, Start of the next cycle, matching cut-off date & Introduction cycle frequency

  1. To edit any of these dates, click the Calendar icon

Introduction

Set what date to email everyone in the group to let them know who their introduction is.

Reminder

Set what date everyone will get a reminder to make sure they meet their introduction.

Feedback

Set what date to ask everyone if they've chatted with their introductions and what their outcomes are.

  • To view the current cycle's questions click See Questions.

Next introduction cycle

This is the date the next cycle will start based on the Introduction frequency set - this date can be adjusted if needed..

Matching Cut-Off Date

Members will continue to be matched until this date, if a match is available. This allows members who join mid-cycle or whose initial match opts out, to participate before the next cycle begins.

⭐ Most introductions happen within 48 hours of matching, so prompt engagement is encouraged.

Introduction Frequency

Set how often members should be introduced to each other., ranging from weekly to every 24 weeks, according to your group's dynamics.

To change the Introduction frequency click the dropdown menu then select the correct frequency.

Introductions notifications schedule

Choose what days of week notifications should be sent and define "paused" dates when they shouldn't be sent like holidays. To learn more about Introductions notifications schedule click here.

Introductions opt-in cleanup

To ensure an engaged community, introductions will be automatically disabled for members who have not interacted with any email or visited the platform for a specified period. This cleanup process is carried out on the 1st day of each month. The numbers of days  can be set to 30,60,90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 224 or 240.

  1. To modify the settings for the Introductions opt-in cleanup, click the dropdown menu.
