What is a Development Program Invite?

A Development Program invitation is a notification that invites people to participate in a Development Program. They are used when you are inviting existing Hub members to a 10KC Development Program.

If you are inviting members to the Hub at the same time that you're inviting them to the Development Program, you would instead use Hub Invites instead. Development Program Invites are only required in certain circumstances; click here to learn more.

Development Program Invitations are part of the Development Program Schedule and are triggered manually by Administrators through 10KC.

When is a Development Program Invitation Required?

Development Program Invitations are only necessary if you are inviting existing Hub members to the Development Program.

If you are inviting members to the Hub for the first time, you do not need to send Development Program Invitations as they will be able to accept the Development Program invite as part of their Hub Onboarding experience via Hub Invitations.

10KC Best Practice Recommendations

  • You can access the latest invitation email templates from 10KC by viewing Development Program templates in your 10KC library. Navigate to Development Programs > Manage Programs > Create a program > 10KC Library. Create a program (don’t worry, this won’t show up for any members. Then follow these steps to view the invitation email template.
  • The invitation should be upbeat and encouraging, as our goal is to entice recipients to accept the invite. Provide any critical program information, including:
    • the program’s purpose
    • member outcomes
    • expectations for participants
    • program timeline
