Opening (5 minutes)

  • Welcome and Introductions: Warmly welcome everyone to the networking event and express appreciation for their participation. Briefly introduce the purpose of the event: to connect current participants with accomplished program alumni.
  • (Optional) Introduce Alumni: Introduce each alumni present, highlighting their achievements and current roles.

Q&A Session (25 minutes)

  • Facilitator: Encourage participants to ask questions to the alumni about their experiences in the program, their career paths, industry trends, challenges they've faced, and advice for current participants.
  • Open the Floor: Facilitate an open Q&A session where participants can engage in a dialogue with the alumni.
  • Prompts: If needed, provide prompts to spark conversation:
    • "What were some of the biggest takeaways from the program for you?"
    • "How has the program helped you in your career?"
    • "What are some of the biggest challenges you've faced in your field?"
    • "What advice would you give to someone currently going through the program?"

Networking Break (15 minutes)

  • Facilitated Networking: Structure a networking break where participants can connect with alumni and each other in a relaxed setting.
  • Prompts: Provide prompts to encourage conversation:
    • "What are you currently working on?"
    • "What are your career aspirations?"
    • "What are you interested in learning more about?"

Closing (5 minutes)

  • Key Takeaways: Briefly summarize the key insights and advice shared by the alumni.
  • Call to Action: Encourage participants to follow up with alumni they connected with and continue building their professional network.
