What are Development Program Types?
Development Program Type determines the duration and match cadence of your Development Program. There are 3 Types available:
Single Cycle Programs
A fixed-term Program with a defined start and end date; participants will all start the Program at the same time, get matched once (single cycle) and complete the Program.
Example: A Mentorship Program that is 6 months long and starts and ends on the same date for all participants. Participants are matched once with 1 or more matches, depending on their Mentee Capacity and Program Session Type (e.g. Group or 1:1).
Multiple Cycle Programs
A fixed-term Program with a defined start and end date; participants will all start the Program at the same time but they will get matched multiple times with multiple participants (multiple cycles).
Example: A Mentorship Program that is 6 months long and starts and ends on the same date for all participants. Participants are matched many times with different individuals for each Session.
Always On Programs
An open-ended Program that's always available for participants to sign up. This Program is defined in duration and participants will get matched once.
Example: A Mentorship Program that is 6 months long but is always available for participants to sign up. Participants will have a different start date based on when they are matched, but the duration will always be 6 months. Participants are matched once with 1 or more matches, depending on their Mentee Capacity and Program Session Type (e.g. Group or 1:1).
