How to use Office Hours as part of your Launch Strategy

Office Hours is a great way to enhance your overall engagement and early adoption when first launching a program. The more opportunities available to members on the platform when they first join, the more likely they will create a profile to participate.

What to do before you launch your hub or new program

  • Reach out to leaders and SME's that are notable within your company. Office Hour hosts that are recognizable will typically get higher registration numbers, especially if employees don't have the opportunity to speak with them often.
*Recommendation: ask leaders who are the face of your program to be the first hosts, this will set a good example for others.

  • Create the Office Hours in your hub - click here for an article on how to create an Office Hour.

  • Add the Office Hour title and host name to your Invitation Email campaign to promote the different offerings on the platform

Communicating the importance of Office Hours to potential hosts

Additional tactics to promote your Office Hour for a launch

  • If you are promoting the new program internally in newsletters, on your intranet or in other places make sure to promote the titles and host names as well.

  • Once you start inviting people to the hub, generate an event link for each Office Hour. You can add these links to any communications you might be sending out internally which will prompt employees to create a profile and register.
