Our Mentorship Development Programs are all about helping you learn and grow over time through sustained, guided relationships. If you're looking to acquire new skills, gain valuable knowledge, or simply develop personally, these programs are a perfect fit.
Typically, you'll be matched either one-on-one or in groups and follow a structured curriculum that can last for several months. You'll stay matched with the same person or group throughout the program's duration. This consistency helps foster strong relationships and focused development.

✅ Your Invitation to Join
If you're invited to a Mentorship Program, you'll receive an invitation notification. The type of invitation you get depends on whether you're already part of our company's existing 10KC community.
If You're New to 10KC
You'll receive a 10KC platform invite.
Look for a 10KC platform invitation.
Click on "Claim Your Invitation" in that message.
You'll be guided through a quick onboarding process to join the 10KC platform.
During this process, you'll also be given the option to join the specific Mentorship Program.
Select your role and capacity (optional): If your program allows it, choose your desired role and how many individuals you'd like to mentor. If these options aren't shown, your program administrator has pre-selected them.
If You're Already on 10KC
Look for a 10KC program invitation notification (via notification or within the platform on the "My Experiences" tab).
Click on "Claim your spot" in that notification.
You'll be taken directly to the 10KC platform and presented with the option to join the Mentorship Program.
Select your role and capacity (optional): If your program allows it, choose your desired role and how many individuals you'd like to mentor. If these options aren't shown, your program administrator has pre-selected them.
✅ What to Expect Next
Once you accept the program invite, you'll need to wait a few days (or weeks, depending on the program schedule) before receiving your mentorship match.
✅ Match Notification
When you receive a match, you'll get a "Program match" notification. This notification will introduce you to your match and provide information about the program. Here's how to connect and prepare for your meeting:
Start a conversation: You can reply directly to the notification to begin your discussion with your match.
Learn more about them: Click on their name in the notification to go to their profile and learn more about their background and interests.
✅ Mentorship Session
You'll receive notifications with details for your mentorship meetings on a set cadence, which could be monthly or bi-weekly depending on your program.
Within the discussion guide provided, you'll find helpful pre-work and optional discussion questions to prepare you for your sessions.
Your action is to book a meeting with your match or group before the next session is sent.
You can always log in to 10KC and click on "Development Programs" to see current or future sessions, which will help you prepare.
✅ Reminders
You might receive a Program reminder notifications if you haven't yet connected with your match. Your feedback helps us continuously customize the session content.
If you haven't met yet: This notification serves as a gentle nudge to schedule your meeting with your match.
If you've already met: Click on "Complete review" to submit your feedback. You can also learn more about how to share feedback for development programs here.
✅ End of Program Survey
As your program concludes, you'll receive a final survey notification. This survey provides an opportunity to share your overall experience, highlight key takeaways, and offer suggestions for future improvements. Your valuable input helps us continually enhance our mentorship offerings.
✅ Need to Leave the Program?
If, for any reason, you need to withdraw your participation from the program, you can do so easily:
Go to the My experiences or Development programs page on 10KC.
Navigate to the specific Networking Program.
Click on Leave program.
If you change your mind, you can re-join the program up until its official start date (which is typically mentioned on the program page).
Once you leave the program, you still have the option of joining back until the program start date.
