Granting the proper permissions for your Development Program

👤 This article is for Hub or Tenant Administrators.

In this article you will earn how to grant additional Administrator permissions for your Development Program so others on your team can manage the Development Program and its Participants.

At a high level, there are 4 types of Administrator permission levels available:

  • Tenant Administrators: highest permission level that can manage all Hubs, complete technical set ups and complete all Administrator actions within the site

  • Hub Administrators: can manage the Hub that they are an Administrator for and complete all Administrator actions within the Hub

  • Development Program Administrators: can manage all Development Programs within the Hub and perform all Administrator actions for all Development Programs

  • Development Program Managers: can manage a specific Development Program and perform all Administrator actions for all Development Programs

Granting Development Program Administrator Permissions

There are 2 ways you can grant Development Program Administrator permissions:

✅ Invite a new member to the Hub as a Development Program Administrator

Here, you are inviting someone to the Hub and granting them Development Program Administrator permissions so they can administer and manage all Development Programs within the Hub.

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Invite Members

  2. Populate their first name, last name, Hub Role, Permission level, language (if applicable)

    • The member can change Hub Role when they claim their profile; this is a Profile Segment that is used for matching (if applicable)

  3. Click Add invite to invite more than one person

  4. Click Invite people

✅ Grant an existing Hub member Development Program Administrator permissions

Here, you are granting Development Program Administrator permissions to a person that has already claimed their 10KC profile, so that they can manage and administer all Development Programs within the Hub.

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Members > Admins

  2. Click Add admins

  3. Search for the person

  4. Toggle on Development Program admin

  5. Click Save

Granting Development Program Manager Permissions

To grant someone Development Program Manager permissions, they must be an existing Hub member.

✅ Grant an existing Hub member Development Program Manager Permissions

Here, you are granting an existing Hub member Development Program Manager permissions so they can manage a specific Development Program.

Note: The person must already be a member of the Hub and have claimed their profile.

  1. In the left navigation menu of the Development Program, click Settings

  2. In the upper right corner, hover over Manage Settings and click Program Managers

  3. Search for the member by name or email and select them

  4. Click Save

Removing Permissions

✅ Remove Development Program Administrator Permissions

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Members > Admins

  2. Click the

    beside an Administrator

  3. Click Edit access

  4. Toggle off Development Program Admin on the permissions page

  5. Click Save

✅ Remove Development Program Manager Permissions

  1. In the left navigation menu of the Development Program, click Settings

  2. In the upper right corner, hover over Manage Settings and click Program Managers

  3. Click the

  4. Click Remove

  5. Click Save
