  • First Name & Last Name

  • Job Title & Organization Name

  • Pronouns

  • Headline

  • Your Website (e.g. LinkedIn)

  • Your Location

This is where members can write anything about themselves (within a 3,000 character limit) and what they are looking to achieve in the Hub.

Hub Information

Profile Segments

Profile Segments are categories of member information that's used to drive the 10KC matching algorithm and enhance reporting so Hub Administrators can view participation in a meaningful way. The Segments that are available within a Hub are confirmed by Hub Administrators and the information can either be imported from a system within your Organization or it can be populated and maintained by the member.

Interests

Interests are self-selected by members on their Profile for each of the Hub(s) they are participating in. Interests inform the 10KC matching algorithm to connect members that have similar Interests. The Interests available for selection within a Hub is confirmed by the Hub Administrators, and is generally curated to drive connections in a meaningful way. Profile Strength

Member Profiles have a Profile Strength that's calculated by 10KC based on how much information is available on the profile. Members can click Add information here to be guided through the steps of completing their profile.

The more complete and up-to-date a profile is, the more likely the member is to be matched with someone who has similar interests and goals.

Interactions

Members can customize how they participate in a Hub by editing their Interaction Settings. Specifically:

  • Other members can start a conversation with me

    • If toggled on, other members may reach out to this member through Directory Search and start a conversation by clicking Say hello

    • If toggled off, other members may not reach out to this member to start a conversation and will not see the option to Say hello

  • Automated introductions:

    • If toggled on, the member will receive automated Introductions

    • If toggled off, the member will be opted out of Introductions

  • Other members can search for my profile:

    • If toggled on, other members may view this member's profile through Directory Search (but they cannot start a conversation, unless they have allowed conversations)

    • If toggled off, other members cannot view or search for this member's profile
