How to use these templates

These templates will help guide timely office hour sessions for you to host in your organization. The templates are inspired by 10KC’s 2024 Workplace Mentorship Calendar: A Year of Inclusive Initiatives.

Copy and paste these templates into a new office hour by heading over to the Office Hours section on the 10KC platform, selecting the “+” button on the right and scrolling to the bottom to select “Empty Template”.

From there you will:

  1. Insert your email and any event editors necessary.

  2. Copy and paste the title and description from this template into their respective spots on the platform.

  3. Fill out the rest of the information for your office hour in terms of time, date, location, participants and target audience.

You don’t have to use this template for your communications, but this is meant to provide you with a starting point. Feel free to make it your own & have a great session!

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to honor the rich histories, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Join us for an insightful and engaging session where we'll explore key moments in Indigenous history, discuss the importance of reconciliation, and learn how we can all play a part in building a more inclusive workplace. This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding, challenge assumptions, and foster meaningful dialogue with colleagues. Together, let's celebrate Indigenous heritage and work towards a future where everyone feels valued and respected.
