Add Participants to Your Development Program

👤 This article is for Hub Administrators, Development Program Managers, or Development Program Administrators.

This article will outline the process for adding participants to your Development Program.

Navigate to your Development Program

  1. Login to your 10KC Hub

  2. In the left navigation menu of your Hub, go to Development Programs > Manage Programs

    • Don't see this option? You may not have the proper permissions

  3. Click on the Draft tab (if your program is unpublished) or the Live tab (if your program is published) to locate your program

  4. Select the program

There are 3 ways you can add a Participant to your Development Program:

Adding Participants to a Development Program is different than Inviting Participants to a Development Program. Adding Participants does not automatically trigger a notification (Invitation) to the member, but rather makes sure they are able to Accept their invitation to the Development Program.

✅ Add a Group of Participants manually by email address

  1. Navigate to your Development Program

  2. In the left navigation menu of the Development Program, select Participants

  3. Click Add Participants

  4. Type user email address(es) on each line

  5. Confirm the participant's Role (optional)

  6. Click Verify email addresses

    • Note: Participant Status will determine the next steps you take when Inviting members to a Development Program; no action is required at this time

  7. Choose whether the program participation is optional ("Ready to invite") or mandatory ("Confirmed")

    • Note: 10KC recommends choosing "Ready to invite" to give participants the option join the program or not instead of choosing "Confirmed" which force joins them

  8. Click Add participants

  9. The participants have now been added to the Development Program

  10. Complete the next step of Inviting them to the Hub

✅ Add participants to a Development Program by uploading a .csv file

  1. Create an invite file with:

    • Two columns titled: "email" and "role"

    • Add member email addresses in the first column

    • Add participant's Role in the second column (optional)

  2. In the left navigation menu of the Development Program, select Participants

  3. Click Add Participants

  4. Click Upload CSV

  5. Upload the file

  6. Click Verify email addresses

    • Note: when Participant Hub Status will determine the next steps you take when Inviting members to a Development Program; no action is required at this time

  7. Choose whether the program participation is optional ("Ready to invite") or mandatory ("Confirmed")

    • Note: 10KC recommends choosing "Ready to invite" to give participants the option join the program or not instead of choosing "Confirmed" which force joins them

  8. Click Add participants

  9. Complete the next step of Inviting them to the Hub

✅ Add participants to a Development Program by searching for Hub members

  1. Confirm your member is already part of the Hub

  2. Navigate to your Development Program

  3. In the left navigation menu of the Development Program, select Participants

  4. Click Add Participants > Search

  5. Search for existing Hub members by first name, last name or email address

    • Use the Filters to narrow down results based on Hub Segments

  6. Click Continue once you've added all participants

  7. Confirm the participant's Role (optional)

  8. Select Verify email addresses

    • Note: when Participant Hub Status will determine the next steps you take when Inviting members to a Development Program; no action is required at this time

  9. Choose whether the program participation is optional ("Ready to invite") or mandatory ("Confirmed")

    • Note: 10KC recommends choosing "Ready to invite" to give participants the option join the program or not instead of choosing "Confirmed" which force joins them

  10. Click Add participants

  11. Complete the next step of Inviting them to the Hub
