What is a Pathway Status?

Pathway Statuses in 10KC determine who can see your Pathway and what stage of the creation process it's in. There are two Pathway Statuses:

Unpublished
Live/Published

What does it mean if my Pathway is in Unpublished?

This means that the Pathway has been created and is still being edited. Members cannot see this Pathway until you Publish it. Only Administrators can see this Pathway.

What does it mean if my Pathway is in Published?

Once a Pathway is Published, you can send invitations and auto-enrol members. Invited or enrolled members will be able to view the Pathway in their 10KC Hub. There is no notification that is automatically sent when a Pathway is published, notifications are controlled by sending invitations via the Participants tab.

You can continue to make edits to the Pathway and Experiences within it once it's published.

Viewing the Status of a Pathway

In the left navigation menu of your Hub, select Pathways > Manage Pathways
Here you will see two tabs: Live and Unpublished
❗️Pathways that appear under the Live tab are published and visible to members in that Pathway. Pathways that appear under the Unpublished tab are only visible to Administrators.

Publishing a Pathway

In the left navigation menu of your Hub, select Pathways > Manage Pathways
Navigate to the Pathway you would like to Publish
In the left menu of your Pathway, go to the Set Up tab
Ensure all steps have been completed
Click Publish pathway and confirm in the pop-up window
Your Pathway is now published and visible to members who have been invited

Unpublishing a Pathway

An Administrator may want to unpublish a Pathway if it was accidentally published before members should have access to it. A Pathway can be unpublished at any time, however it's not recommended to unpublish once members have been added.

When unpublishing a Pathway, members who were previously invited or enrolled to the Pathway will be taken to an error message screen.

To unpublish, follow these steps:

In the left navigation menu of your Hub, select Pathways > Manage Pathways
Navigate to the Pathway you would like to Publish
In the left menu of your Pathway, go to the Set Up tab
Click Unpublish pathway and confirm in the pop-up window
Your Pathway is now hidden from all members and is only visible to Administrators
